My ongoing and entirely unordered projects.
I'm an Architecture student with a partiality for illustrating and a bunch of other things.
Some of my prints are at the Red door gallery in Edinburgh at the moment, it’s dead nice to hear of people appreciating them!
Here I am about to post one of Scotland’s most famous (if not the most famous) paintings on Alba, The Skating Minister, when I mosey on over to the Red Door Gallery’s website to grab a link from their blog concerning something completely different, and find THIS MASTERPIECE.
A re-interpretation of the painting by artist David Fleck. Truly spectacular, highlighting the charm of Edinburgh’s Old Town (my hood) and apparently quite the popular print at Red Door right now. If I was still in Edi I’d definitely pick up one of these prints for myself, as I was never able to decide on one before leaving.
See the original painting by Henry Raeburn here.
And follow David’s tumblr here!
